Village Connect is a program designed to address the reality that most seniors prefer to remain independent and live at home for as long as possible. Although "aging in place" is a common goal for many seniors, certain physical, emotional, or cognitive challenges can make this difficult without additional support.

While some health conditions can be managed with quality care, failing to address the impact of social isolation, loneliness, or poor nutrition can increase seniors' risk for various physical and mental health issues.

The Village Connect program is inspired by the core values of Harbour Landing Village, emphasizing productive engagement, social connection, physical activity, and nutrition in a welcoming and supportive environment. The program's ultimate aim is to help seniors remain in their homes while enjoying a high quality of life. By fostering a sense of community and providing practical resources, Village Connect empowers seniors to live independently for as long as possible.
